Pa Houa Xiong

Pahoua Xiong/Paj Huab Xyooj (pronouns: she/her/nws) serves as an Assistant Director for Advising & Outreach.

As a Hmong American, first-generation college graduate of the School of Human Ecology at UW-Madison, she takes great pride in helping students transition to and navigate through college. She is passionate about providing access and advocacy for students while creating opportunities to increase their confidence around money management and financial wellness. Her higher education career thus far includes academic advising, admissions and recruitment, public relations, program coordination, and student conduct.

In her spare time she enjoys listening to audio books, watching movies/TV Series, learning skills related to technology and financial management, and spending time with her partner and children.
