Shane Maloney serves as the Associate Director for Federal Awards in the Office of Student Financial Aid (OSFA) where he began his time with UW-Madison as the Direct and Private Loan Manager in 2016. He leads a team charged with providing opportunities and access to higher education using a proactive, responsive, and student-centered approach while ensuring institutional compliance with Title IV and Title VII regulations.
Shane previously worked as a regional Director of Financial Aid in a small proprietary school system where he played a role in nearly all areas of Higher Education and services for students. From enrollment management to academics and career development, Shane’s passion is serving students in pursuit of their education and providing access in an effort to make their goals a possibility.
