Martha is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics & Spanish and a Mathematics certificate and is currently a Ph.D. student in the Department of Economics. She started working as a student employee in the Office of Student Financial Aid in 2019 as a Special Awards Analyst. Over the next few years, she was also selected to be an OSFA Ambassador, assisted with the Front Desk Team during the busy Summer and Fall 2021 terms and held the important position of Emergency Relief Specialist before starting her current role as Federal Aid Specialist. Martha has worked in many parts of the office and hopes to share her experience with students that have questions about their financial aid.
Outside of the office and the classroom, Martha enjoys a good book and drawing. She’s an avid figure skating fan, though not quite as graceful on the ice herself!
