Gorejer Her (Jer) serves as a Financial Aid Advisor within the Office of Student Financial Aid. Jer is the liaison to the School of Education, the Graduate School, and the Transfer Engagement Center while also supporting students in a capstone program at UW-Madison.
She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the Sandra Rosenbaum School of Social Work at UW-Madison. As a first-generation BIPOC student and a recipient of Bucky’s Pell Pathway (fka FASTrack) & the Mercile J. Lee scholarship, Jer possesses a keen awareness of the diverse challenges students encounter. She is committed to offering guidance and fostering success throughout students’ academic journey. Beyond her professional endeavors, Jer finds enjoyment in music, blogging, and engaging in thrifting activities.
