Joselyn Diaz-Valdes serves as a Senior Financial Aid Advisor for the Office of Student Financial Aid. She has worked at UW-Madison for the past 12 years first with the PEOPLE Program, but more recently takes pride in managing the FASTrack and BANNER Programs with OSFA.  She is also the liaison for student veterans, TRIO CeO students, and  First Wave students and actively participates with the Satisfactory Academic Progress committee and our WebTeam. She’s also involved with the undocumented and DACA student taskforce on campus.

She’s a Brooklyn native, UW-Madison alum, and also a current graduate student in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis on campus.  When she isn’t busy working, Joselyn’s a wife and mother of three very energetic and talented children. In her spare time she enjoys staying involved in her community and serves as a Board Member at Simpson Street Free Press, a Madison youth newspaper, and volunteers with WYSO Madison Music Makers.
