Karie Cunningham

Karie Cunningham serves as Assistant Director of Institutional and Federal Awards for the Office of Student Financial Aid at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In this role, she assists the Federal Awards Unit with process improvement efforts as well as with OSFA’s Packaging Philosophy and Fund Management monitoring. Karie first joined the team as an Administrative Specialist in the Special Awards Section of OSFA in August of 2016 and has enjoyed working in an environment dedicated to expanding access to higher education. During her time at OSFA, she has earned 17 certifications from the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA) and along with her colleagues, the 2017 Administrative Improvement Award from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Karie holds a Bachelors degree in Agricultural Business Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She enjoys WI Badger Football games and spending time with family.
