Kathryn Boonstra is a Research Analyst at the SSTAR Lab, where she is responsible for researching and evaluating the Wisconsin Teacher Pledge program. Originally from Massachusetts, Kathryn began her career as a pre-k and kindergarten teacher in Washington, DC and went on to earn a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from American University. She holds a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction from UW–Madison with a focus on early childhood education and teacher education. Kathryn is an avid cyclist and loves cooking, crossword puzzles, and gardening.
