Alan Avila

Alan Avila is the Scholarship Manager for the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS) in the Office of Student Financial Aid (OSFA). He worked within OSFA during his undergraduate years to help support the Student Employment and Scholarship teams and focuses his work now supporting students in understanding scholarships and the distribution of scholarships across CALS. In his previous work, Alan has worked at the School of Medicine & Public Health at the Population Health Institute supporting fellowships for postgraduate students as well as other programs while supervising students. Alan is a Chicago native and UW Alum with a B.S. in Communication Science. When he isn’t busy working, you can find him on the bike paths around the Madison area, collecting fidgets, and watching T.V. shows with friends.
