Ellie Bruecker

Committed to bridging the gap between research and policy change, Ellie has expertise in financial aid policy, state and federal regulation of higher education, and applied policy analysis. Ellie holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and she has co-authored publications for The Institute for College Access & Success, the State Higher Education Executive Officers Association, and the 2021 edition of New Directions for Community Colleges. She works full-time as a Senior Research Associate at the Seldin/Haring-Smith Foundation, where she has authored reports on public transit access for college students and criminal activity in state-authorized postsecondary institutions.
