Josh Bach-Hanson

Josh Bach-Hanson is a doctoral student in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis at UW-Madison and a graduate assistant in the SSTAR Lab. His research primarily focuses on college access, with an emphasis on college access for students from rural backgrounds. Prior to starting the PhD program, Josh graduated from Winona State University in Minnesota with a degree in 5-12 Social Studies Education and a minor in political science. He, his husband, and their two dogs enjoy exploring the beauty of the outdoors, visiting Wisconsin’s many supper clubs, and are on an endless search for the state’s best cheese curds.
